Abstract : Dhruv Bhatt’s Sarmey Walks on the Pathless Path (2014) is a significant contribution to contemporary Gujarati literature that unites narrative artistry with profound philosophical inquiry. Far more than a travel-based narrative, the novel is an exploration of consciousness, identity and the multilayered process of encountering the self. The protagonist, Sarmey, undertakes an inward and outward journey that reveals the limitations of conceptual knowledge, the significance of experiential understanding and the fundamental freedom inherent in human existence. Through interactions with nature, spiritual teachers, fellow travelers and his own inner voice, Sarmey gradually uncovers a deeper awareness of the self as fluid, intuitive and expansive. This research article presents a comprehensive study of the novel with particular attention to the themes of self-realization, experiential knowledge, autonomy, intuition, nature as consciousness, emotional vulnerability, and philosophical paradox. This study demonstrates how Bhatt’s narrative aligns with and expands upon Indian philosophical traditions, existential thought and the psychological dimensions of identity formation. The conclusion positions Sarmey Walks on the Pathless Path as a text of lasting relevance in discussions of consciousness and contemporary Indian literature.

Abstract : પ્રસ્તુત સંશોધન લેખમાં વિદ્યાર્થીઓની સર્જનાત્મકતા વિકસાવવા માટે શૈક્ષણિક લાઇબ્રેરીની ભૂમિકા વિષે વિશ્લેષણ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. આજના ડિજિટલ યુગમાં ગ્રંથાલય માત્ર પુસ્તક આપ-લે માટેનું કેન્દ્ર રહ્યું નથી, હવે તે નવીન વિચારો, સંશોધન અને સર્જનાત્મક અભિવ્યક્તિઓ માટેનું પ્લેટફોર્મ બની રહ્યું છે. ગ્રંથાલયોની વિવિધ પ્રવૃત્તિઓ જેમ કે રીડિંગ ક્લબ, ઓપન એક્સેસ ડેટાબેઝ અને ટેકનોલોજી વિદ્યાર્થીઓમાં નવા વિચારોનું સંવર્ધન કરે છે. સાથે સાથે તે માટેના કેટલાક પડકારો પણ છે જેમકે નાણાંકીય મર્યાદાઓ,ટેકનોલોજીનો અભાવ, તાલીમી સ્ટાફની અછત વગેરે. આ મર્યાદાઓને દૂર કરવામાં આવે તો શૈક્ષણિક ગ્રંથાલયો વિદ્યાર્થીઓની પ્રતિભા ખીલવવામાં અને સર્જનાત્મકતા વિકસાવવામાં ઉત્તમ મંચ પૂરું પાડી શકે છે.

Abstract : This paper examines the effect of festival offers and EMI (Equated Monthly Installment) schemes in relation to consumer perception, impulse buying behaviour, and financial wellbeing in the long term in India. It covers the psychological and financial aspects of the marketing activities that take advantage of consumers by giving them discounts, charges not disclosed, and false EMI adverts. The respondents included were 170 and with varying ages and income levels and data were acquired through a structured questionnaire. Correlation and regression analysis revealed that younger customers are simply a bit more affected by discounts, but festival discounts and EMI schemes did not have any significant influence on impulsive purchasing and the level of debt. There was also no significant contribution of financial literacy to avoiding EMI traps. The results point to the disparity between the perceived and the actual financial performance and the necessity to improve consumer education, transparency in the marketing of retail products and services and the use of credit responsibly when making festive purchases.
